Operate on virtually any power source. No programming required - all features are switch controlled.

Working Synchronized Sound, Smoke Generator, Directional Lighting: This Loco has an smoke generator for realistic smoke effect controlled by switch in cab, Wheel synchronized sound generator for prototypical sound effects controlled by switch in the cab and directional lighting. (track not included)

New: never run. Superior pulling power with two traction tires and 8 point power pickup for reliable operation.

Run on any Power: Loco runs on DC, AC, or Marklin Delta or Digital Control. Bottom of loco removes with one screw (shown in photo above) to allow selection of either DC or AC operation, loco address selection via switches and rotary controls for setting maximum speed, acceleration, and breaking delay, Notice the synchronization pickup on the rear axle for realistic synchronized steam sound effects.

No Programming Required: The Digital address is also set by switches and no programming is required. (Factory default switch settings shown).

Switch settings for DC operation: When switch '0' is set to 'off' (shown above) the locomotive can be operated with any DC power source.

Metal not plastic: This Marklin set like all Maxi Marklin products are metal construction for real train appearance and feel. Note the metal spoke wheels on the coaches.

Detailed Graphics: Prototypical graphics on both cars and loco provide realism. A class III class car included with set as shown above.

Metal Wheels: Metal axles and wheels on both coaches. Class II class car included in set as shown above.

Skis Racks: Each of the two coaches has a ski rack for the 20 skis included with the set. Passengers are asked to please use keep their skis out of the coaches.

Scale Figures and Skis: EA hand painted engineer and fireman are provided. 20 skis are included so your passengers can hit the slopes.
